This is an opportunity for artists to enter portrait works for selection at the Redwing Gallery in Penzance, Cornwall between 6th - 19th March 2020.
Redwing's mission is to break down barriers by providing opportunities for unknown and often unschooled artists to exhibit their creations and give the public access to exciting new works of art.
The Redwing Portraiture Open Exhibition is a submission exhibition inviting work from outsider artists. Work submitted can include painting, ceramics, drawing, print and sculpture. There are no geographical restrictions to entrants and we anticipate that postal applications and postal submissions from all over the world will be received.
We are looking for work that is extraordinary from artists who may never have exhibited before in a gallery, who have existed outside the mainstream art world and outside art education systems.
Deadline for applications are Saturday 29th February 2020.
